Greenwich Swears In 5 New Police Officers

A ceremony was held Monday in Greenwich Town Hall.

GREENWICH, CT — Five new Greenwich police officers were sworn in Monday during a ceremony in Town Hall before a large audience of family and friends.

"It's an exciting day for each of you," said First Selectman Peter Tesei, who administered the oath of office to the new recruits. "There is no greater responsibility and service town government provides than the protection of the lives of citizens."
