Greenwich Traffic Advisory: Bridge Inspections To Close Lanes of I-95

Motorists should expect the typical traffic backups on I-95 through Stamford to be even longer on Wednesday.
Bridge inspection crews will be working on I-95 in Stamford and that work will force the closure of lanes of the highway in each direction between Exits 6 and 8, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
There will be right and left lane closures on I-95 northbound between 9 a.m. and noon. The closure of southbound lanes is scheduled to occur between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Inspection crews also will be working on Elm Street between South State and North State streets, prompting alternating right lane closures on Elm Street between 9: a.m. and 3 p.m.
