GREENWICH, CT - From Greenwich Tree Conservancy: Join the Greenwich Tree Conservancy for a special program with Audubon senior naturalist Ted Gilman. Enjoy a brief educational program followed by a walk on the Old Forest Trail through the orchard and open fields. Fall is the time of nature's harvest with a bounty of acorns, beech and hickory nuts, tulip and birch seeds, dogwood fruits, evergreen cones, cedar berries and more. Keep an eye out for your favorite birds while learning the many important ways trees nurture them.
