Greenwich Trump Official, Husband Made A Boatload In 2017: Report

Greenwich resident Linda McMahon is the nation's Small Business Administrator and former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment.

GREENWICH, CT — Linda and Vince McMahon, the Greenwich power couple who built Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment into a sports colossus, earned at least $100 million in 2017, according to a soon-to-be-filed financial disclosure form, writes Forbes magazine.

Linda McMahon, the nation's Small Business Administrator under President Donald Trump, is filing the statement in the capacity of her government role, a copy of which Forbes reportedly obtained before its release.

The McMahons earned their money mostly through sales of stocks and bonds, interest on other investments and dividends. For example, Vince McMahon sold about 4.3 percent of WWE stock during the year, for which he netted about $73 million after taxes, the publication states, some of which he is using to relaunch his XFL football league.
