Greenwich Woman Accused Of Threatening High School Students: Police

The alleged incident occurred in March of this year.

GREENWICH, CT — A 40-year-old Greenwich woman, who allegedly passed a threatening note to students at Greenwich High School back in March, was arrested on a warrant Saturday, according to police.

Latoya Forbes, of Brookside Drive, is facing multiple charges as a result of the incident, which allegedly took place on school grounds on March 31.

The contents of the note were not disclosed, but police said the students she gave the note to are familiar with her, though the note did not threaten any specific students.

"She a gave a note to some students which caused alarm," said Greenwich Lt. David Nemecek during a press briefing. "She allegedly forged the note to make it look like a student wrote it."

  • Threatening, 1st degree
  • Risk of injury/Impairing the morals of a minor
  • Criminal trespass, 3rd degree
  • Breach of peace, 2nd degree

She was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on June 5.
