Greenwich Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty: Police
The woman's dog suffered from "profound emaciation, malnutrition and neglect," police said in an arrest report.

GREENWICH, CT — A 25-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested on Dec. 29 on a warrant that charges her with cruelty to animals, according to the Greenwich Police Department.
The incident dates back to Oct. 9, 2022, according to the arrest report for Aubriana Dejesus, 25.
Dejesus' dog "suffered from profound emaciation, malnutrition and neglect," police said. The dog was subsequently euthanized.

Police applied for and successfully obtained an arrest warrant. Dejesus was taken into custody without incident last week, police said.
Dejesus was able to post 10 percent of $15,000 bond and was released. She's scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 13.
