Greenwich Woman Stole $45k in Jewelry from Neighbor: PD

The Stamford teacher was arrested after she stole about $45,000 in jewelry from a neighbor, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT—A Stamford school teacher and Greenwich resident is facing burglary and larceny charges.

Patricia Wuest, 52, was arrested after she stole about $45,000 in jewelry from a neighbor in March, according to Greenwich Time.

She is on leave from Stamford Public Schools.

The neighbor and her husband returned from vacation to find jewelry missing, according to police. Wuest sold the items in midtown Manhattan for about $2,400.
