The Cos Cob newcomer, which opened its first Connecticut location in April and allows customers to build their own poké bowls, received more votes than any of the other nearly 50 nominees.

“Being able to create a poké bowl that is unique and just for me is amazing,” one person wrote. “Their customer service goes beyond expectations. I've tried most of the local poke restaurants and this one is by far the best around.”

Among the vast array of poké bowl add-ins are octopus, spicy tuna, ponzu sauce, chili oil, furikake, wasabi peas and avocado cream.
