Greenwich's Free Music Fridays Continue With Billy And The Shoemen
The next show will take place on Aug. 12 at Greenwich Common in downtown Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — The next installment of the Free Music Fridays series will feature Billy and the Shoemen. The show will begin Aug. 12 at 12 p.m., at Greenwich Common right off Greenwich Avenue.
Attendees are encouraged to grab a sandwich or a salad, sit outdoors in the heart of Greenwich Avenue and enjoy the music.
Billy and the Shoemen was formed in 2015 and covers songs from classic rock and the early R&B/soul era. They like to include songs you know but haven’t heard in a while, or songs that you would never expect to hear from an acoustic band.

Billy and the Shoemen includes Billy Foster (lead vocals), Bill Geoghegan (guitar/lead vocals), Ray Simonelli (guitar, lead vocals), and Jim McGrath (flute and percussion).
Free Music Fridays will run ever Friday through Sept. 2.
