Greenwich's Havemeyer Field To Close Due To Emergency Drill
The closure will be in effect beginning at 9:30 a.m.
GREENWICH, CT — Havemeyer Field, which is located behind Greenwich Town Hall and the Board of Education building, will close beginning at 9:30 a.m. due to an emergency management training drill.
A helicopter will be brought in to simulate the rescue of a critically injured person, according to the town.
No field access will be allowed while the drill is ongoing. The drill is expected to conclude by noon, at which point field access will be opened up.
