Greenwich's Nathaniel Witherell Fined By State For Lapsed Care

The nursing home was one of six recently fined by the state.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich nursing home Nathaniel Witherell was recently fined $1,940 by the Connecticut Department of Public Health for two separate incidents in which patients were not properly treated, reports Connecticut Health I-Team.

In both cases, patients were taken to a local hospital for treatment for injuries suffered at the nursing home.

The executive director of the nursing home told the publication's Cara Rosner that it has implemented new procedures as a result of the fine, and it is now in compliance.
