Greenwich's Seasonal Lawn Watering Schedule Now In Effect

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich's seasonal lawn watering schedule for Aquarion customers and all private well owners went into effect April 1. The schedule mirrors the schedule for several neighboring communities.

Those with even numbered addresses may water only on Sundays and Wednesdays before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Those with odd numbered addresses may water only on Saturdays and Tuesdays before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

For properties without an address number, watering is allowed only before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Aquarion Community Relations Director George Logan gave a presentation to the Board of Selectmen on Greenwich's water conservation plan for 2022, along with the 2021 water quality report, on March 24.
