Gretchen Carlson at Greenwich Event Tells Women Not To Be Intimidated

Carlson spoke to an audience of hundreds in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — Former Fox News Host Gretchen Carlson told a crowd of hundreds in Greenwich Tuesday that women can't be silenced by past relics or establishments.Carlson was the keynote speaker at the 12th annual Sole Sisters Luncheon through the Greenwich United Way, according to the Greenwich Time.

Carlson won a high-profile lawsuit against Fox News, which led to founder and CEO Roger Ailes resigning following sexual harassment claims.

Carlson lives in Greenwich with her family and participates in a number of charitable events in the area.

Ailes resignation was followed by host Bill O'Reilly, who was pushed out after claims of sexual harassment were made public against the host.

Fox publicly apologized to Carlson. The settlement amount wasn't made public, but it was reported to be around $20 million.
