Southern Connecticut Weather: Heavy Rain, Flooding Concerns

It's going to be a wild, wild two days of weather for us. Here are the latest details on the listed weather advisories.

I hope you enjoyed Friday and Saturday's beautiful spring days because we're going to pay for it for the next 36 hours or so. On April 15, 2018, there is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the northern parts of Connecticut, not us, but that still tells you how crazy this weather is. From 70s on Saturday to potentially freezing rain in parts of the state.

For us in Southern Connecticut, we're going to be dealing with a very cold, heavy rain that may lead to flooding concerns, especially on the coast. Southern Connecticut may end up with 2 to 3 inches of rain before it all ends Monday evening.

The worst of the rain is from late tonight into Monday morning. We may even see some thunderstorms on Monday.
