High Temps Led To Early Closure At 2 Greenwich Schools

GREENWICH, CT — Despite it being the first day of the school year, North Mianus School and International School at Dundee closed early on Aug. 30, due to excessive heat and lack of air conditioning at both facilities, according to district officials.

Both schools followed a standard early release schedule, dismissing at 1:15 p.m. All other Greenwich Public Schools followed the standard school day schedule.
