Here's When Greenwich's 2024 Leaf Collection Program Will Begin
Leaf collection is provided to half-acre or less residential properties (building zone R-20) on public streets.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Department of Public Works will begin its annual leaf collection program on Nov. 12, according to the town website.
Leaf collection is provided to half-acre or less residential properties ( building zone R-20) on public streets.
First Selectman Fred Camillo noted in his weekly newsletter to the community that leaf collection will take place Mondays through Saturdays, with two leaf collections per numeric section in town. Leaf collection is anticipated to finish in mid-December, weather permitting.

Residents can check what section they're in by clicking here. The schedule has not yet been posted.
"Please be courteous of your neighbors and don’t pile the leaves at the curb too early either," Camillo said. "We don’t want to unintentionally create safety hazards for pedestrians as the actual collection won’t begin until next month. If you want to get rid of leaves before Nov. 12, you can bring them to Holly Hill Resource Recovery Facility during normal hours of operation if you have a permit."
