Looking for things to do for Memorial Day weekend? Here are a few suggestions—there are plenty of events and parades planned around town. And Greenwich Police warn that there will road closures and increased traffic in and around these these events.

The 228-foot mega-yacht SeaFair—a floating art and antiques emporium—is docked at the hotel, 500 Steamboat Rd. and guaranteed to be a must-see for art and antiques aficionados and collectors, and even those who want to tour one of the 10 largest privately-owned yachts in the world.
International Fine Art Expositions (IFAE), is hosting a new spring edition of Art Greenwich 2012 through May 28 with a juried collection of more than 25 international galleries. The collection will include unique paintings, functional art & design and haute jewelry.
Among the artists on exhibit are Joan Miro, Francis Bacon, Marc Chagall, Helen Frankenthaler, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, Jean Dubuffet, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louise Nevelson, Rufino Tamayo, Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, Robert Rauschenberg, Tom Wesselmann, Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein and Jim Dine.
And the is has its own gallery exhibition and sales space aboard Seafair, with the exhibition organized by the GAC's own curator Tatiana Mori.
Fair hours will be Saturday: 11am – 9 pm and Sunday and Monday: 11 am – 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased on the website for an advance discounted ticket price. For more information, log onto www.expoships.com or call 239-949-5411.
Saturday, May 26:
9:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.: Greenwich Farmer's Market, Horseneck Lane parking lot will feature Connecticut grown and harvested produce, plants, baked goods, shellfish and meats.
10 A.M. - 11 P.M.: Greenwich Town Party, Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, Arch Street. While tickets sold out to this family event featuring several music acts—culminating with an evening concert by Paul Simon—organizers have arranged for broadcast of the concert for boaters who motor or sail into Greenwich Harbor. There also will be food venues featuring the food of Greenwich restaurants and daytime activities for children.
