Holly Hill Transfer Station Closed: Greenwich Police

Greenwich police announced earlier this morning that the facility is closed following another storm that moved through the area overnight.

GREENWICH, CT — Holly Hill Transfer Station is closed on Saturday due to downed power lines, according to the Greenwich Police Department.

The Greenwich 911 Dispatch twitter account had tweeted early Saturday just after 5 a.m. that a tree, wires and poles were down, and most of Holly Hill Lane was closed. Access to the transfer station was only possible on the western side near CVS.

Police made the closure announcement around 10 a.m.
