GREENWICH, CT — Investigators are looking into two home burglaries that occurred recently on the western side of town in the Rock Ridge area and whether or not they're connected to other incidents in the region.

Capt. John Slusarz said a burglary was reported around 1:15 p.m., on Jan. 28 on Fox Run Lane. There was forced entry in the rear of the home. Slusarz noted that a safe was mentioned in the initial police report, but information regarding any stolen property was not immediately available.

On Dec. 21, 2023, a burglary was reported in Rock Ridge where there was forced entry through a rear door as well, Slusarz said.

It's unclear how many suspects were involved in each case.

"Part of burglary investigations is to evaluate all the evidence and look for patterns that can be connected to other burglaries in the region," Slusarz said. "Processing evidence takes time and it will be a while before we can conclusively connect these incidents to any other burglaries."
