Home Burglarized In Greenwich: PD
Police said someone forced their way into the home through a back window.

GREENWICH, CT — Police are investigating a residential burglary reported last week on Stillman Lane in Greenwich. The incident occurred sometime between Wednesday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 6, according to police.
Lt John Slusarz said a landscaper contacted the homeowner, who was away at the time, after discovering a back window was broken. The owner then contacted police.
"We went over there and determined it was actually a burglary," Slusarz said to Patch. "We don't know what's been taken yet, it's pending inventory, we just know somebody forced their way in through a back window."

Slusarz said police typically give residents whose homes have been burglarized a form to list any items that appear to be missing and will check in with area pawn shops.
They also ask for any pictures of missing items and determine if the items taken have any special markings or serial numbers that can distinguish them.
