"Collazo, in his attempt to flee, brandished a knife and made several pointed movements with it towards the homeowner," police added.
During a search of Collazo following his arrest, police found several folds of heroin along with a clear plastic straw which Collazo said he used to sniff the drugs, police said.
Collazo was unable to post a $100,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 9.
