Hour-By-Hour Forecast Of Sunday, Memorial Day In Connecticut

The National Weather Service's estimate of rain chances, and temperatures for CT, broken down county-by-county.

Many people have outdoor plans on Memorial Day weekend whether it be attending remembrance ceremonies, parades or barbecues and the weather was perfect today. But if you have outdoor plans on Sunday and Monday, here is an updated hour-by-hour forecast, which includes the temperature and chance for rain both days.

The sun will largely be absent over the next two days but Memorial Day appears to be dry and warmer while Sunday features off-and-on rain showers and very cold temps. We're going from nearly 90 degrees today to around 60 degrees on Sunday.

"More clouds move into the region tonight as a cold front will slide down from the north. This will bring the warm weather to an end for the remainder of the holiday weekend. The likelihood of showers will increase during tonight along with the chance of a few thunderstorms. Temperatures will fall into the lower and middle 60s across the region, except across eastern Connecticut and eastern Long Island where temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by Sunday morning," the National Weather Service says.

On Sunday it will be cloudy and unsettled, along with noticeably cooler temperatures. Due to clouds and a northeast wind temperatures will not get out of the 60s. Light rain is likely during the morning, followed by a chance of light rain during the afternoon and evening.

During Sunday night the chances of showers will continue to diminish through Monday morning, with a return to mainly dry conditions expected by Monday afternoon. A frontal boundary will remain nearby keeping clouds in place through much of the day," the National Weather Service concludes.
