Panelists at the event include TM Practitioners Ray Dalio, Joni and Kevin Kimberlin, David Levien (producer of Showtime show Billions), Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, Director of Women's Heart Health, Lenox Hill Hospital and ABC News Anchor Elizabeth Vargas.
Bob Roth will answer questions about his new Simon and Schuster book "Strength in Stillness," which is a practical guide to Transcendental Meditation. Roth is the CEO of the David Lynch Foundation and a world authority on meditation. He has taught thousands of people to meditate and has worked closely with many high profile practitioners of TM, including Ray Dalio, Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Gwyneth Paltrow, Howard Stern and Tom Hanks.
According to Kimberlin, "Transcendental Meditation is a simple natural technique that anyone can learn. It brings about deep rest, stress release, increased inner happiness and well-being. It is an evidenced based practice - hundreds of research studies on TM's benefits have been published in respected journals. Research shows that TM reduces stress and anxiety, improves brain function and cardiovascular health among other benefits. TM is very beneficial to families in Greenwich who face tremendous stress from all the demands of a fast paced lifestyle. We've had great success teaching students and families to meditate. It is a wonderful technique for families. My husband, Kevin Kimberlin who runs an investment firm, has practiced TM daily for more than 40 years, and so have I. My daughter Genevieve, who will be at the event, is an TM instructor."
