800+ Still Without Power In Greenwich: Update
Tuesday's powerful storm knocked out power throughout parts of Greenwich, including Town Hall Tuesday evening.

GREENWICH, CT — More than 860 Eversource customers in Greenwich still were without power Wednesday morning as of 8:17 a.m., according to the utility company, after Tuesday's powerful storm swept through the state. Two people reportedly were killed - one in Danbury and one in New Fairfield - as a result of the storm.
Greenwich Town Hall was without power for a spell Tuesday after power lines were knocked down on Field Point Road, which also led to the temporary closure of the street.
The road has since been reopened and power has been restored to Town Hall, but other parts of the area are still without power, according to Greenwich Emergency Dispatch.

However as mentioned above, northern Fairfield County was particularly hard hit. In addition to the two fatalities, more than 10,000 still were without power in Danbury as of Wednesday morning, and more than 7,400 were powerless in Newtown.
