Ice Conditions Force Postponement of Greenwich Shellfishing Program
The Bruce Museum will reschedule the program that was to have been held this weekend.

The commercial shellfishing program Bruce Museum had planned for Sunday, March 1 has been postponed because of ice conditions.
Ed Stilwagen of Atlantic Clam farms and Jadar Nygaard of Hemlock Oyster Company were scheduled to talk about “Commercial Shellfishing in Greenwich Waters” in the program planned by The Bruce with a recreational shellfishing demonstration led by members of the Greenwich Shellfish Commission.
In its announcement Wednesday, the museum said “icy Long Island Sound conditions” prompted the postponement. It will be rescheduled for a later date.
