ID Released Of Man Who Was Struck And Killed By Train In Cos Cob

GREENWICH, CT — According to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Scott James Harrington, 59, of Riverside, was killed Wednesday afternoon after he was hit by a train in Cos Cob.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:35 p.m., an MTA spokesperson said.

The New Haven Line experienced delays of up to 30 minutes. Police wrapped up their investigation Wednesday evening. Further information about the incident was not available as of Thursday afternoon.
