Indivisible Greenwich Supports Sandy Hook Parents In Call To Ban Megyn Kelly/Alex Jones Interview

"It's a despicable choice to mainstream his hate on her Sunday evening show and it's egregiously insensitive to the Sandy Hook families."

GREENWICH, CT — Indivisible Greenwich, the local chapter of the growing grassroots progressive political organization, is throwing its support behind Sandy Hook parents and groups that are calling on NBC not to air an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and journalist Megyn Kelly.

In the below Facebook post, the group calls the planned interview "appalling, especially airing on Father's Day." NBC is planning to broadcast the interview this Sunday night during the news magazine show "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly," a move that has prompted some advertisers to pull ads from the telecast.

Jones, who peddles in far-right conspiracies, has referred to the tragic mass shooting at a Sandy Hook school five years ago as "a hoax," deeply offending parents, loved ones and others of the more than 20 children and adults who were slain on Dec. 14, 2012.
