Insurance Agent Michael Garofalo Spearheads Holiday Toy Drive

Insurance agent Michael Garofalo, of Allstate, is hosting a holiday toy drive from September 15 to November 15. Toys collected, which can be dropped off at 469 W Putnam Ave., Suite 203, Greenwich, CT 06830, will benefit military families through Operation Homefront.

“I am honored to be a part of Operation Homefront’s toy distribution this holiday season,” said Garofalo. “Please drop by and drop off a toy and make a child’s holiday season memorable.”

Operation Homefront is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive — not simply struggle to get by — in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront has consistently earned high ratings from leading charity rating services, including Charity Navigator’s 4-Star rating for 11 consecutive years for superior service and accountability, and the Platinum level Transparency Seal from GuideStar.

Donated toys are distributed to Operation Homefront’s military children, to show our nation’s appreciation and supplement the family holiday. Families will receive stocking stuffers from Operation Homefront’s various partnerships. The donations collected at Garofalo’s place of business will be very meaningful gifts for the military families and their children during the holiday season.

Operation Homefront has met all of the BBB’s business standards. Ninety-two percent of its expenditures go directly to programs that support tens of thousands of military families each year. Operation Homefront provides critical financial assistance, transitional and permanent housing and family support services throughout the year to prevent short-term needs from turning into chronic, long-term struggles.
