Interfaith Candlelight Vigil For Peace Scheduled At Christ Church Greenwich: Details

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Fellowship of Clergy will host an interfaith candlelight vigil Wednesday at Christ Church, inviting community members to gather for prayer and reflection.

The "Interfaith Candlelight Vigil of Peace and Lament" is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at Christ Church, 254 East Putnam Ave.

Organizers said the event is being held "in response to recent events that have left many in our nation feeling unsettled and afraid."

Participants will take part in prayer, song and moments of silence in what organizers describe as a respectful and welcoming environment.

The service will conclude with attendees singing "Let There Be Peace on Earth" during a candlelit procession intended to symbolize hope, remembrance and shared faith.
