Investigators Following Up On 'Good Leads' In Cos Cob Bank Robbery
Police continue to investigate the bank robbery that occurred in Cos Cob on May 11.

GREENWICH, CT — Police said Wednesday they're following up on "good leads" related to the bank robbery that occurred in Cos Cob last week.
Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the Greenwich Police Department said Wednesday the robber made off with less than $5,000, and that new developments could be announced by the department in the coming days.
According to the GPD, at around 10:15 a.m. on May 11, police received a report of a robbery at the M&T Bank on the Post Road in Cos Cob. No injuries were reported, and the suspect fled the bank, police said.

Police described the man as 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, wearing a dark hoodie with sunglasses and a facemask. He was also wearing dark pants, possibly with paint on them. Police described his clothes as "baggy."
No other information on the suspect or a car that was used was released. O'Reilly said the robbery is not related to others reported in nearby municipalities recently.
