It’s Back! The Beloved Junior League of Greenwich Touch A Truck! Returns May 17

The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is thrilled to bring back one of the most popular family events in Greenwich at the Town Hall.

The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is thrilled to announce that one of the most popular family events in the community, Touch A Truck!, is back at the Greenwich Town Hall on Sunday, May 17, 2026. A variety of trucks, food, entertainment, and goodies will be available for families and children from 10:00am to 2:00pm, rain or shine, with VIP access at 9am and Reduced Sensory at 9:30am.

The JLG is excited to once again offer its reduced sensory experience from 9:30am to 10:00am for families and children who benefit from a calmer experience in a smaller group setting without all of the loud sirens and flashing lights. There will be plenty of family entertainment and food trucks during this time for everyone to enjoy. When purchasing Touch A Truck! tickets, simply select the Reduced Sensory Experience ticket.

Families can take unforgettable photos of their kids climbing behind the wheel of a fire truck, honking the horn of a dump truck, and riding in a trackless train. This fun-filled day is a dream come true for so many young children who can also enjoy mini golf or play around a giant bubble machine.

Don’t worry, the JLG welcomes back the fan-favorite powerful trucks from Greenwich’s Department of Public Works along with fire trucks, police cars, school buses, ambulances, and so many other vehicles including construction equipment. There’s also a wide array of kids’ activities and a variety of food trucks with delicious treats.

“We are beyond happy to bring this treasured event back for another exciting day for children and their families thanks to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers,” said Sammie Jacobs, President of the Junior League. “Our reduced sensory hour makes this an inclusive event for all children since loud sirens and flashing lights aren’t for everyone while the rest of the day allows kids to be kids and experience various vehicles first hand that they see every day in a festive environment.”
