Items Stolen From Vehicles In Greenwich: PD
Police said various items were stolen out of two vehicles in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — Police said various items were stolen out of two vehicles in Greenwich last week. According to Lieutenant John Slusarz, a wallet was taken from a 2018 Subaru Outback on North Crossway on Saturday.
On Thursday, a beach pass was stolen from a 2014 Acura MDX on Lockwood Lane. Slusarz said the vehicle was also rummaged through.
Back in December, Greenwich Police issued a warning to remind residents about locking their vehicles in order to keep their valuables safe.

"Most of the auto theft reports in Greenwich routinely reveal that the vehicles taken were easy targets because the keys were left inside or made available to thieves," police said in the warning. "A continuing community concern is the theft of items from the interior of motor vehicles. An iPad or cell phone sitting on the passenger's seat of your car is eye-candy to a criminal. Even loose change is enough to invite some to break in. Remove valuables or hide them out of eyesight."
