NBC Connecticut morning anchor Heidi Voight gave birth to two bundles of joy on Mother's Day over the weekend, Apolonia "Polly" Rose and Violet Concetta, the popular Connecticut newscaster announced on her Facebook page.
Polly entered the world at 8:47 a.m. at 3 pounds, 11 ounces and 16.5 inches long, while Violet was born a minute later and tipped the scales at 3 pounds, 10.4 ounces and 17 inches long.
"Welcome to the world, my Polly and Violet, my beautiful baby girls," Voight wrote. "You are everything I dreamed and more. I love you more than words can say."

The two were born a bit prematurely and had to spend sometime in the NICU, but Voight was able to hold both of them at same time on Tuesday. And by the way, Daddy David is doing well, too.
Voight is one of three NBC Connecticut on-air personalities scheduled to have babies this year, following Kristen Johnson earlier this year and Hanna Mordoh in October 2018.

The congratulations from friends, fans, family and colleagues have been flooding Voight's Facebook page, more than 400 comments at last count, and well over a thousand Likes.
"There are no words to describe this love. Today I got to hold both of my baby girls at the same time. All I can do is cry with happiness."
Congratulations, Heidi and David. Welcome to the world Polly and Violet.
