Junior League Continues Effort For Greenwich Pool In Byram Park
The fundraising campaign seeks to bring in $100,000 to go toward the project's Splash Pad. Check out the video about the project.
GREENWICH, CT — The Junior League of Greenwich is continuing its fundraising campaign for the Splash Pad at Greenwich Pool in Byram Park, a project that is expected to be completed by the summer.
As of this month, the league has raised nearly $30,000 toward its $100,000 goal via a crowdfunding page on GoodCircle.org. The pool project consists of three pools, a large six-lane pool, a kiddie pool and the Splash Pad, which has various apparatus for activities. See the video below.
"Join Conte & Conte, Greenwich Magazine, McArdle’s Florist & Garden Center, Miller Motorcars, Splash Car Wash, and Wernert Builders and Construction Managers and let’s get splashing," wrote the Junior League in a statement. "Be part of this unprecedented partnership under the leadership of the Junior League of Greenwich, along with these preeminent local businesses to fund what is sure to be the most fun part of The Greenwich Pool in Byram Park – the Splash Pad!!!"
