The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG), a leading women’s organization dedicated to driving positive community change, is excited to celebrate "Find the Good Day" on September 19, 2024. This special day of unity and kindness encourages individuals, families, and organizations to come together as changemakers, spreading positivity and making a lasting impact across Greenwich

To honor the day, JLG members will be preparing and delivering sandwiches to the Boys and Girls Club, Barbara’s House, and Kids in Crisis, for children in their after-school programs. In addition, JLG will be assembling and donating backpacks filled with essential items for children at Kids in Crisis, many of whom arrive with few personal belongings. These backpacks offer them both necessities and a bag of their own allowing them to keep their belongings safe. Donations of these items can be made through an Amazon Wishlist.

“As we approach ‘Find the Good Day,’ we are reminded of the collective power we hold to create brighter futures through compassion,” said JLG President, Stacey Higdon. “It’s the small, everyday acts of kindness that often leave the greatest impact.”In celebration of the event, JLG encourages all participants to share their acts of goodness on social media. By tagging @JLGREENWICH and using hashtags #FindTheGoodDay and #JLGREENWICH, participants can help showcase the positive momentum being created in Greenwich and beyond.
