Keith Lescale maternal fetal medicine physician joins Caterina Violi M.D in providing comprehensive pregnancy care.

As a maternal fetal medicine physician who specializes in managing high risk pregnancies, Dr. Lescale will be providing prenatal screening with utilization of the latest technologies in ultrasound imaging and procedures throughout each trimester of pregnancy. In addition Dr. Lescale will be available for pregnant women who may have significant medical conditions, fetal abnormalities and/or pregnancy complications. A genetic counselor will also be available at our office to consult on those women who have had a complication during a previous pregnancy or who have a family history of inherited conditions or birth defects. A nurse practitioner will also be available for nutritional consultations and diabetic teachings.

Dr. Lescale is Board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He also holds certification by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He received specialty training in Obstetric Ultrasound at Weill Cornell Medical Center - New York Hospital. He was voted best doctor in both Westchester and New York magazines. He is considered one of the most respected Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists in New York, Westchester, and Dutchess counties. Having served as chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and White Plains Hospital, he continues to offer consultative services to obstetricians throughout Manhattan and the Hudson Valley and now in Fairfield County.

Dr. Lescale earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University. He received his doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He went on to continue his training, completing a fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
