Kids Can 'Touch a Truck' on Sunday
The Junior League of Greenwich holds its 15th annual family fun day where kids can explore the world of trucks.

This Sunday, children will be able to sit behind the wheel of a fire truck, honk the horn of a dump truck and ride a roaming railroad train.
The Junior League of Greenwich’s 15th annual spring event, “Touch a Truck” will take place Sunday, June 7 at the Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, co-chaired by Heather DeVries and Tabitha Wunderlich, will be held rain or shine.

The popular event, sponsored by Miller Motorcars, Valley Pediatrics and Greenwich Pediatric Dental Group and Moffly Media, draws more than 2,000 people annually. It includes a variety of vehicles such as traditional construction, emergency and rescue vehicles. Children and adults are welcome to ride The Roaming Railroad, touch a Greenwich fire truck.
Entertainment will be provided by the Bossy Frog Band. On the field will be bouncy castles and hands on soccer instruction by Filipo Sports & Entertainment. Food and refreshments from a variety of food trucks will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will benefit the community projects of the Junior League of Greenwich.

General admission to the event is $30 per family for tickets purchased in advance at www.jlgreenwich.org or $40 when purchased at the door. There is also a special $100 VIP family ticket that includes a photo shoot from Classic Kids of Greenwich, two free classes at Pure Barre and a chance to win fabulous prizes from the drawing.
