The state Supreme Court ruled that Sherman provided constitutionally adequate defense in the murder trial.

GREENWICH, CT — Lawyer Mickey Sherman said he feels vindicated after the state Supreme Court ruled that he provided constitutionally adequate defense to Michael Skakel.
The state Supreme Court reversed a lower court's decision that had freed Skakel following his murder conviction. Skakel was allowed free on bail.
Sherman said he was surprised by the Supreme Court's decision, according to the Greenwich Time. The previous ruling affected his career and damaged his professional reputation.
