Leora Levy To Hold Tele-Rally With Donald Trump Tonight Ahead Of Primary
Leora Levy, a Greenwich resident, is vying for a chance to challenge incumbent Sen. Richard Blumenthal in November.

GREENWICH, CT — Leora Levy, a Greenwich resident who is running for a chance to challenge incumbent Sen. Richard Blumenthal in November, is holding a tele-rally with former President Donald Trump on Monday night ahead of Tuesday's Republican primary.
The rally, which will be held over the phone, begins at 8 p.m., Monday. Those interested in listening can dial 203-819-7314.
Trump endorsed Levy last week over a phone call at a Montville event, according to the CT Mirror. Levy was nominated by Trump to be the U.S. ambassador to Chile in 2019.

Trump followed up the phone call with a written endorsement of Levy. He cited her work for the Republican National Committee and said she would be an advocate for Connecticut and conservative values.
Levy is running against former State House Minority Leader Themis Klarides and immigration lawyer Peter Lumaj in Tuesday's primary.

Klarides has distanced herself from Trump and said it wouldn't be good for the country if he ran for president again in 2024, according to the New Haven Independent. Lumaj is also a Trump supporter.
