Letter To The Editor: Auerbach’s Poor RTM Attendance Record

Dear Editor:
Regarding the fitness of Jason Auerbach for the Board of Education:
I am Chairman of RTM District 5. According to the attendance records of the Town Clerk, Mr. Auerbach attended only 43 percent of the meetings of the full RTM during the last term. In addition, when Mr. Auerbach was marked “present” he would often come late and leave early.
The Board of Education is one of the few boards in Town where there are no alternates to fill in for an absent member. Attendance at all meetings is critical and I believe that his pattern of absences would be very disruptive to the smooth functioning of the Board of Education.
