Letter To The Editor: In Support Of Sandy Litvack For Greenwich First Selectman

To the Editor,

As a long-time Greenwich resident, I write to enthusiastically endorse Sandy Litvack for the position of
First Selectman. I have worked with Sandy is a variety of capacities over the last 30 years, and he has
demonstrated the qualities that will make him invaluable to Greenwich.

Sandy is remarkably smart. While I have known many very intelligent lawyers, Sandy’s analytic ability
and problem-solving capacity are second to none. He cuts through to the heart of a problem,
formulates a solution, and implements it efficiently. And he does so in environments that demand
collaboration, such as when he served as managing partner of one of New York’s leading law firms, the
head of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, and the leader forging consensus among
strong-willed lawyers representing different parties in complex litigation. While I have seen them in the
legal context, I have no doubt that these same skills account for his meteoric rise to COO of The Walt
Disney Company during the few years he took off from the practice of law.

Finally, Sandy is a straight shooter whose integrity is beyond reproach. He will be great for Greenwich. I
encourage everyone to vote, and a vote for Sandy will be well cast!
