Local Artists Partner With Greenwich's Bistro V

GREENWICH, CT — Fairfield County-based artists Dollka and David Morico have partnered with Greenwich's Bistro V restaurant for a special giveaway during the month of January.

Dollka and David created a total of four limited edition 9-by-12 prints of original art on paper topped with hand-painted acrylic embellishments. Each artist used two of their original artworks to create the prints, and created 40 unique pieces that are numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Each mixed media piece is valued at $150.

These special prints are only available for a limited time to customers that make dinner reservations at Bistro V this month. Bistro V is located at 339 Greenwich Ave.

The restaurant open seven days a week and offers lunch, dinner, happy hour and weekend brunch. The eatery is transformed to the original Versailles Patisserie in the morning from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on weekdays offering coffee and fresh pastries and Viennoiserie made from authentic French recipes.

The artists said the artwork for the partnership was inspired by the idea of celebrating life and bringing hope and encouragement to the world.

"As we create these pieces we are reminded of our past difficulties and the courage and hope that resulted from staying positive and moving forward. This partnership gives us the opportunity to give back and spread joy and inspire hope," Dollka said in a news release.

Both artists created 80 pieces each representing their unique styles, and the entire Bistro V staff received them on New Year's Eve.
