The business is on a hot streak, having sold several big winning tickets recently, according to the Connecticut Lottery

GREENWICH, CT — An Old Greenwich business recently sold a $3.4 million winning lottery ticket, continuing a hot streak that's seen several big prizes claimed in recent months, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The ticket - from the Lotto! game, was sold at the Gulf station located at 1324 E. Putnam Ave. The ticket matched all six winning numbers in the Friday, June 12 drawing: 7, 18, 21, 25, 34, 40.

The retailer sold a $25,000 scratch-off winner a few weeks ago, and a $1 million scratch-off winner in 2025, the Connecticut Lottery noted.

In 2024, the retailer sold another scratch-off ticket worth $4.3 million, along with $40,000 and $30,000 winners during the last two years.

"I was worried for a little while that I had gotten cold," said store owner Filomena Lamichhane in an announcement from the Connecticut Lottery. "It’s good to be back being a lucky location for players. I’m looking forward to making another one!"

The latest Lotto! jackpot comes just months after another Lotto! player in Groton won a $6.8 million jackpot in the Feb. 3 drawing. That ticket was sold at the Big Y World Class Market on Poquonnock Rd. in Groton.

Lottery officials said Friday’s $3.4 million jackpot winner has 180 calendar days from the drawing date to claim their prize.
