Mail Thefts In Greenwich Lead To 3 Arrests: Police
Three New York residents accused of stealing mail in Greenwich were recently arrested, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — Three New York residents accused of stealing mail from mailboxes in the Byram area of Greenwich were arrested Thursday, according to police. Officers responded to the area around 2 p.m. and located a 2004 Acura TI, which witnesses identified as the suspected mail thieves' vehicle.
The driver was identified as Shawnique McCalla, 22, and the two passengers were identified as Kalvin Cacho, 26, and Anthony Dixon, 27, all of the Bronx, N.Y., according to police.
"An investigation revealed the three subjects came to Greenwich with the intent of stealing mail," police said in a statement. "Cacho and Dixon were also caught on security cameras stealing mail."

Cacho was charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.
After being processed and placed in a cell, Cacho damaged a sprinkler system and said he was ill, according to police. He was additionally charged with first-degree criminal mischief and taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment, police said.

Dixon was charged with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft, credit card theft and interfering with an officer.
McCalla was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
