CT Weather: Humidity Drops, Better Weather This Week
The National Weather Service says it is prepared to make us a "limited time offer" and that its complaint department has been very busy.

It's been no secret that Connecticut's weather has been pretty lousy lately as it seemingly rains daily and the humidity is beyond oppressive. The National Weather Service is apparently very aware that we've not been happy with the recent weather and says it is prepared to make us a "limited time offer." The good news is that this is an offer we do not want to refuse.
"Our Complaint Department has been overwhelmed with calls, emails, and letters (yes, we still get those!) from people who, shall we say, have not been "happy" with all of the heat and humidity that we've experienced over the past several weeks," the National Weather Service said on its Facebook page.
"As a result, we are happy to provide this "Limited Time Offer" of cooler weather and more comfortable humidity for most of the upcoming week. "Like" or share this post in the next 24 hours and you will be automatically eligible to receive this offer! If you read the fine print, and we know everyone does, there is one exception. On Wednesday, you agree to one day of tropical humidity along with showers and thunderstorms, before we provide you with several days of less humid weather starting on Thursday. Our Legal Department makes us include that," the weather service concludes. (To sign up for free, local breaking news alerts from more than 100 Connecticut communities, click here.)

Here are some specifics on the weather forecast, which thankfully offers us a major change from the rainy, stormy and hot and humid weather we've been experiencing thus far this summer. For Monday, there could be spotty drizzle along the Connecticut coast but the temps will be cooler and much less humid. Tuesday will also be a nice day while Wednesday will feel more humid. There may be some rain showers Tuesday night into Wednesday. And then back to great weather on Thursday and Friday.
