Man, 23, Sent Explicit Pictures, Videos To Juvenile: Greenwich PD
A man is accused of sending explicit pictures and videos to a juvenile under the age of 16, according to Greenwich police.

GREENWICH, CT — A New Jersey man accused of sending explicit pictures and videos of himself to a juvenile under the age of 16 was recently arrested, according to Greenwich police.
In a statement released Thursday, police said a juvenile under the age of 16 reported in June that Sean Rathfon, 23, of North Haledon, N.J., had "solicited nude photographs" from the juvenile.
A joint investigation by the department's special victims section and New Jersey state police later revealed Rathfon sent "explicit videos and pictures of himself" to the juvenile, police said. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

"The images and videos were of the accused performing sexual acts in the nude," police said in a statement.
Police said Greenwich officers obtained an arrest warrant in late August and Rathfon was later arrested by New Jersey state police. He was extradited to Greenwich from Passaic, N.J., on Wednesday, according to police.

He was charged with risk of injury to a minor.
In a Facebook post, police said Rathfon solicited photographs from the juvenile while they were on a gaming website.
"The Greenwich Police Department reminds all parents of the dangers that can take place in cyberspace," police said on Facebook. "Many child predators use gaming applications, forums and websites to meet children."
