Man Accused Of Blocking Road, Kicking Passing Vehicles: Greenwich PD
Police said a man was causing a disturbance on the afternoon of Nov. 12.

GREENWICH, CT — Police arrested a 56-year-old Norwalk man on Nov. 12 after they said he was causing a disturbance in the middle of Shore Road in Old Greenwich.
At around 12:35 p.m. that day, the Greenwich Police Department received at least six 911 calls regarding a man who was walking in the middle of Shore Road, yelling profanities and kicking passing vehicles, police said in an arrest report.
Responding officers found the man in the road still causing a disturbance, and he refused to stop so that officers could conduct an on-scene investigation, according to an arrest report.

Officers struggled with the man as they tried to place him under arrest, police said.
The man was charged with second-degree breach of peace, interfering with an officer and being a negligent pedestrian.

Police said the man was released on a written promise to appear. He's scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 28.
