Man Accused Of Illegally Possessing Firearm: Greenwich Police

Police said a man was arrested in Greenwich after drugs and an illegally possessed firearm were found in his possession.

GREENWICH, CT — Police said a New York man was arrested Saturday in Greenwich after drugs and an illegally possessed firearm were found in his possession.

In an arrest summary, police said officers on patrol along Delavan Avenue around 4:30 p.m. noticed a vehicle with a temporary Texas dealer registration and no front license plate.

After stopping the vehicle, officers determined the driver, Tremaine Bro Fraiser, 24, of New Rochelle, N.Y., had a suspended driver's license and the vehicle did not have any insurance, police said. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

According to police, Fraiser was also found to have drugs, drug paraphernalia and an illegally possessed firearm in his possession. A nine-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time, police said.

Fraiser was arrested on charges of violation of a standing criminal protective order, criminal possession of a pistol/revolver, criminal possession of a firearm/weapon, risk of injury to a child, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license, illegal operation of a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operation of a drug factory, as well as drug possession charges.
