Man Accused Of Recording Woman In Public Restroom: Greenwich Police

The incident took place inside a public restroom at Greenwich Point, police said.

GREENWICH, CT — A Stamford man was arrested earlier this week after Greenwich police said he used a cell phone to video a woman while she was inside a public restroom.

Simeon Idem, 31, turned himself in to police on an active arrest warrant on Feb. 7. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and voyeurism with malice. He was able to post a $50,000 bond.

The incident took place around 1 p.m., on Jan. 30 in a restroom at Greenwich Point, police said in an arrest report.

Idem is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 16.
