Man Accused Of Swimming Naked At Greenwich YMCA: Report

Police said officers responded after receiving a report of a man having allegedly entered the pool completely naked.

GREENWICH, CT — Police said a Riverside man was arrested after allegedly swimming naked at a YMCA pool in Greenwich, according to media reports. The incident occurred Friday morning at the East Putnam Avenue fitness center.

According to NBC Connecticut, officers responded after receiving a report of a man having allegedly entered the pool completely naked. The accused was later identified as 62-year-old James Sawyer, police said. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Police said there were also young people present during the 10 a.m. swimming session, the Norwalk Hour reported. The accused was later picked up at his residence by officers, police said.
